“Get a Bird’s Eye View: Top Observation Decks for Budget Travelers”

As a writer who loves exploring different cities, I have always found observation decks to be the best way to get a bird’s eye view of the place. Not only do they offer stunning views of the cityscape, but they also provide an excellent opportunity to understand the layout and history of the area. In this post, I will discuss some of my favorite city viewpoints and observation decks that are perfect for travelers on a budget.
The first viewpoint on my list is The High Line in New York City. This 1.45-mile-long elevated park was built on a former railroad track and provides fantastic views of Manhattan’s skyline and Hudson River. Visitors can stroll along the park while admiring public art installations, gardens, and unique architecture.
Next up is The Rooftop at The Standard hotel in Downtown LA. This trendy rooftop bar offers breathtaking panoramic views of Los Angeles’ skyline with comfortable seating areas, fire pits and great ambiance that make it ideal for couples or groups looking for a night out.
Moving onto Europe, we have Sky Garden in London – one of my favorites! Located at 20 Fenchurch Street (known as “The Walkie-Talkie” building), this observation deck is completely free to enter but requires pre-registration online due to its popularity among tourists; however, once inside you will enjoy beautiful tropical gardens alongside unobstructed vistas over London from all angles.
In Barcelona Spain lies Montserrat Mountain which offers spectacular scenery overlooking Catalonia’s capital city from afar with plenty of hiking trails leading through rugged terrain dotted by ancient monasteries perched high above valleys below making it an excellent choice for nature lovers too!
Lastly but not least we have Tokyo Skytree – standing tall at 634 meters high – offering unparalleled views across Japan’s bustling capital city including Mount Fuji!. While admission fee might seem steep compared to other locations mentioned earlier in this article; however visitors can enjoy many amenities such as restaurants & cafes, shops and even a planetarium located inside the tower.
In conclusion, exploring different cities is always an adventure, but visiting observation decks can take your experience to the next level. From New York’s High Line to Tokyo Skytree, these viewpoints offer unique perspectives of some of the world’s most famous cities without breaking the bank. So go ahead and plan your next trip around experiencing one or more of these breathtaking views!
